History of Carinthia VII
Carinthia VII was built by Lürssen in 2002 for the late American businessman and philanthropist David Geffen. She is the seventh yacht in the Carinthia series, and she is the largest yacht ever built by Lürssen for a private owner. Carinthia VII is designed by Tim Heywood, and she is one of the most recognizable yachts in the world.
The Refit
The refit of Carinthia VII was a major undertaking. The exterior decks were redesigned, and new lounge and living areas were added. A new 12m/39′ pool was also installed, along with a fitness room. The interior of the yacht was also updated, and the yacht’s systems were modernized.
The Charter Yacht
Carinthia VII will be offered for charter for the first time in 2023. She is a truly unique yacht, and she is sure to be a popular charter yacht. She can accommodate up to 20 guests in 10 staterooms, and she has a crew of 33. Carinthia VII is equipped with a helipad, a submarine, and a range of water toys.
Unique Features
In addition to her size and her luxurious amenities, Carinthia VII has a number of unique features. She is the only yacht in the world with a pool on her sundeck. She also has a glass-bottomed elevator that allows guests to see the water below. Carinthia VII is also equipped with a state-of-the-art security system.
